CSD Social Venture Fund's investment partner Mozzeria has officially announced the opening of their second location. The Washington D.C. storefront, located near Gallaudet University, will open its doors to carry-out service on Friday, September 4th, 2020.

Mozzeria was founded with the goal of increasing employment opportunities for the Deaf community. As such, the Neapolitan Pizza restaurant is staffed and operated by deaf individuals who are fluent in ASL.

“Don’t know sign language? No problem!” explains Ryan Maliszewski, CEO of Mozzeria. “Mozzeria offers all our customers an inclusive and highly visual dining experience that no other restaurant can match. Our employees are committed to ensuring that our guests feel like part of our community.

During the soft opening, the first 50 patrons to place an order through Mozzeria’s website, or at the restaurant, will receive a complimentary official Mozzeria T-shirt.
