42% of companies in the United States are owned by women. However, historical funding disparities mean these businesses don't have access to as many resources as businesses owned by men. To address this, many VC's and funding organizations are setting funds aside specifically for women entrepreneurs. We've compiled a list of some of these grants and companies below.

SoGal Foundation has teamed up with Winky Lux, bluemercury, twelveNYC, Twilio, Walmart.org’s Center for Racial Equity and other sponsors to make a small step towards progress by providing several $10K and $5K cash grants to Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative is an international entrepreneurship program focused on women impact entrepreneurs. This program is open to women-owned businesses that have a sustainable social and/or environmental impact. Applications open Monday, May 16th.

Ladies who Launch created a Launch Program to help combat the equity gap in entrepreneurship for women and nonbinary entrepreneurs of diverse backgrounds. They are accepting applications for their 2022 cohort from now until March 27th.

The Amber Grant for Women is an organization that awards $10,000 to a women entrepreneur each month. The foundation looks for women with passion and a good story. Applications are due by the 31st of each month and winners are announced on the 23rd of the following month.
