Online Communities for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs trying to grow their businesses need spaces to promote their products, resources to learn best practices, and a strong community of people with shared experiences. Knowing this, Deaf entrepreneurs have established different online groups to meet each of these needs, creating more opportunities to support the Deaf Ecosystem nationwide. To make it easier to find these groups, we compiled a list of 23 online networking and promotional groups for Deaf and hard-of-hearing (D/HH) entrepreneurs that may be helpful for you on your entrepreneurial journey.

Deaf BIPOC Womxn Entrepreneurs
Purpose: Support and Networking
This private Facebook group is a space for Deaf BIPOC womxn entrepreneurs to share their experiences and support each other on their entrepreneurial journeys. In addition to being a space to build relationships, the admins of Deaf BIPOC Womxn Entrepreneurs share live trainings and tips that members can use to grow their businesses.
Deaf Business Owners (Facebook)
Purpose: Support and Networking
The goal of the Deaf Business Owners Facebook group is to connect Deaf business owners across the United States. The focus is less on promoting products and services, and more on supporting fellow business owners and entrepreneurs by sharing resources and tips.
Deaf Business Owners (LinkedIn)
Purpose: Support and Networking
The purpose of the Deaf Business Owners LinkedIn group is to build a network of D/HH business owners. Members are encouraged to share their experiences and resources with the intention of educating fellow entrepreneurs.
Deaf Businesses and Orgs
Purpose: Promotion
CSD Social Venture Fund’s growing D/HH-Led Businesses and Organizations Twitter list compiles tweets from each listed business into one place. This is a great space to see real-time updates of what each business owner is up to, what they’re working on, or what they’re promoting.
Deaf Christian Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
Purpose: Support, Networking, and Promotion
The Deaf Christian Business Owners and Entrepreneurs public page was created to provide a space for Christians to learn about and support Deaf Christian businesses. Additionally, this group serves as a space for fellow Deaf Christian entrepreneurs to connect with each other.
Deaf Community Online Business
Purpose: Promotion
The Deaf Community Online Business group is a marketplace for entrepreneurs to share their products and services with people interested in supporting D/HH-led businesses.
Deaf Entrepreneurs
Purpose: Support and Networking
Deaf Entrepreneurs is a public Facebook group for Deaf entrepreneurs to share resources and tips that have helped them along their journey. Business owners are also welcome to promote their own products and services.
Deaf/Hearing Business Owner Vendors
Purpose: Support, Networking, and Promotion
Deaf/Hearing Business Owner Vendors is a relatively new group created to give Deaf and hearing business owners a space to share their products, connect with each other, share resources, and learn from one another.
Deaf Owned/Operated Service Providers
Purpose: Support, Networking, and Promotion
Deaf Owned/Operated Service Providers is a public group geared towards Deaf business owners that work in interpreting, captioning, and VRI. This group provides mentorship and guidance business owners can use to improve their consumers’ experiences.
Deaf Small Biz Bazaar

Deaf Small Biz Bazaar is a private group that serves as an online marketplace for Deaf and hard-of-hearing businesses. D/HH entrepreneurs and business owners can post their sales, products, and business information for other D/HH entrepreneurs to browse.
Deaf Small Business Network
Purpose: Support and Networking
The Deaf Small Business Network is a public group where Deaf and hard-of-hearing business owners can go to find help and mentorship in starting and growing their businesses. This community is great for entrepreneurs looking for support and networking opportunities.
Deaf Women Entrepreneurs
Purpose: Support and Networking
Deaf Women Entrepreneurs is a private online space to collaborate, ask questions, share ideas, and network in general. There are weekly themes like celebrations, business tips, and promos to guide member conversations.
DMV Deaf Ecosystem
